USM is hosting the WIAA girls Hockey regionalism on Friday Feb. 18. The captains’ parents have asked for help with the gate.

Time commitment is from 5 pm to the end of the first period, or about one hour.

Grandparents and special friends chairs need some more volunteers. This list has probably been updated, but you can see that volunteers fall into two categories: “host” and set the scene/clean it up!

So please let Jane (jsldesign at wi.rr.com) know if you are interested in

1. Host the day of (times below)–November 24
2. Set up the day before (2 to 3 p.m.)–November 23
3. Take down day of (11:30 to 12:30)–November 24

Host-type volunteers
Registration Table
2-3 slots ––7:45am – 9:30am or as long as they can

Middle School Stairways
4 slots –– stand in the hallways or stairwells to direct guests, 7:45am-9:30/10am or as long as they can

Upper School Floaters
2 slots –– stand in the hallways or stairwells to direct guests, 7:45am-9:30/10am or as long as they can

Preprimary Walkers
2 slots — 8:00am-8:30am, very short duty

Ells Room
1 person/ 8:30-11:00am,help out and direct students setting up to perform musical pieces

Set the scene/Clean it up!
Set Up
4 slots –– Tuesday, November 23rd, from 2-3pm

Take Down
5 slots -–– stay after the event for an hour 11:30-12:30pm and help put things away

Fall Sports Survey
From the Athletic Director: We believe that thoughtful assessment and effective communications build a stronger athletic program and now that fall seasons have come to an end (except for swimming and diving) I would like to remind all parents of the opportunity to fill out a survey to share your thoughts and ideas related to your child’s most recent USM team experience. All input will be considered as we strive to improve our athletic program. Your name or your child’s name will not be shared with coaches.

To encourage open communication this survey has be set up so the author cannot be tracked in any fashion; your response will be completely anonymous unless you add your name. Aggregate results and comments will be shared with coaches while respecting the desired anonymity of the respondents.
